**Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and Bookish.**
So this is my very first Top Ten Tuesday post! I felt like doing something different this week, so I hope you enjoy my list! I had a very hard time narrowing my Summer reading list to only 10. LOL They are in no particular order.
The Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness. I just started the first book, The Knife of Never letting Go, last night! These are perfect reads to find at my local library so I will be reading them throughout the summer.
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa. I have been wanting to read this for so long so I am definitely making room for it this summer!
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. One of my most anticipated releases! I hope to pick up a copy in the next week or two!
Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. Another contemp I am dying to read! I think I literally jumped up and down when I was accepted to read this on netgalley! I hope to read this in the next couple weeks.
Persuasion by Jane Austen. So… *toes floor* I have not read any Jane Austen books yet. I know, I KNOW! I just finished For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfeund, which is inspired by Persuasion, and now I know I just have to dive into this classic this summer. Finally.
Venom by Fiona Paul. This book sounds fantastic! It is not set to release until October, but I managed to win an ARC from the author and cannot wait to start it!
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins. I am a HUGE fan of angel books and have been wanting to read this one for so long! My poor copy is gathering dust and needs to be read this summer!
A Midsummer’s Nightmare by Kody Keplinger. I adore her other books so this was a no-brainer for me to add to my summer reading.
Insignia by S.J. Kincaid. This book debuts in July and I will be picking up a copy ASAP!
I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga. I love the murder mystery of this one and I have a signed copy just waiting for me to dive into!
So that is a look into what I plan on reading this summer! If anyone is looking for any suggestions for great summertime reading, I would highly recommend Unbreak My Heart by Melissa C. Walker. It was such a cute read and you can find out more about it from MY REVIEW, if you are interested. I would love to hear what you all plan to read too! Leave a link if you got one!
