From Goodreads:

She is desperate to remember.
He is aching to forget.
Together, they are not broken.
But together, one may not survive.

Jade wakes up with no memory of her past and blood on her hands.

Plagued by wicked thoughts, she searches for answers. Instead, she finds a boy who doesn’t offer her answers, but hope. But sometimes, when nightmares turn into reality and death follows you everywhere, hope is not enough.

LUST. LOVE. LOSS. Sometimes, all that is left are Ashes and Ice.

Why I Can’t Wait: For the longest time I have had this book on my TBR purely from the cover and those first four lines in the synopsis. The addition since then is a bonus! I love the mystery behind a character with memory loss and the journey to discover the past with them. I am sooooo intrigued about this boy and they whole dynamic between these two characters that leads to that sentence that one may not survive. And that cover… I love the ice look! And those eyes are mesmerizing.

**UPDATE** The lovely author messaged me on twitter and told me about a little giveaway she is having! If you share the Ashes and Ice Goodreads page, on twitter, Facebook, Goodreads, etc., just message the author with the link and she will put you in a drawing to win $25 at Barnes and Noble or Amazon! Winner will be drawn once she hits 500 adds on Goodreads.

Great pick! I actually haven’t heard of this one yet but definitely adding it to my list now. This sounds great! I really enjoy books with a main character on a journey to discover themselves. Also love this cover, so gorgeous!

Thanks for highlighting this! I thought I added it to GR ages ago, but apparently I didn’t for some reason. And now I’ll remember to read it!

And I just have to say, that cover is gorgeous. Like, drop-dead-think-I-might-keel-over kind of gorgeous.
