Okay, so I somehow ended up with a packed reading schedule for the spring. The winter was crazy busy and I was hoping to take a bit of a break to attempt and catch up but, yeah, that didn’t happen. LOL I blame super packed months of awesome releases. More and more books I am interested in are being released each month so it’s hard to pick and choose what I can actually find time for. But anyways, you don’t want to hear me ramble about all of that. Again. So here are a few of the books I am definitely reading this spring!

I’ve had this book for a few months in my review schedule but my reading slump last month put me behind. This is definitely next on my list!

NOTHING could keep me away from this book! One more week and it shall me mine!

Must be finally read! The author’s coming here in May and I really want to have at least this first book read beforehand.

I’ve heard AMAZING things about this one! Snagged a copy off of Netgalley so this is definitely coming up in my reading schedule.

One of my most anticipated 2013 reads! SQUEE! It’s on my nook, calling my name…

I’ve been DYING for this book! Love this author so much and not only am I excited to read more from her, but the concept is so interesting as well. Thank god my wait for its release is almost over! 7 more weeks, if anyone else wanted to know! πŸ˜‰

The buzz is KILLER for this one! I instantly joined an ARC tour and am eagerly awaiting my turn.

It’s not out until summer but there is no way I can hold off that long to read it. Must, must, must read ASAP!

The Witness Protection Program and all of the secrecy and danger surrounding it has always been interesting to me. I tend to watch a lot of crimes shows on tv and reading something similar only in a YA setting is really cool and something I have to check out.

When I read The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight I really felt a connection to the story and the characters and it was such an easy and enjoyable read that gave me so many smiles and feelings. I’m hoping that just maybe I can have that with this one too.

I realize that most of what I have listed will be new releases this spring, but I really want to read them all and I have almost all of them already. If I have time, there are a few others I HOPE to get to as well.

The fact that I haven’t read this one yet is bothersome. Completely and utterly bothersome. Doesn’t help that I’m nervous because I’m Team Adam and everyone seems to be wavering to Warner…

Totally awesome concept! The author is coming to town in May and at last year’s event, I won an ARC and a t-shirt as a door prize. I wear the shirt religiously, which makes me feel like I’m a total fraud because I haven’t even read it yet. *sigh*

So that’s my list! Any books that are must reads for you this spring? Links if you got ’em!

Cinder is AMAZING! You will not be disappointed. Also, Scarlet is just as good!!!

I just finished This is What Happy Looks LIke. It’s adorable!

  7. Lauren @ Love is not a triangle

YOU CAN HANDLE UNRAVEL ME! I am still Team Adam, and I could list a ton of people who are as well. Grave Mercy, and Cinder are also good – though Scarlet is even BETTER in that series. The 5th Wave and This is what Happy Looks like are also on my list. I’m not sure about Taken because of the triangle. But I met the author and she was so nice! CLOCKWORK PRINCESS!!!!!!!!!!! I’m with you there.

  8. Sunny Duvall

You haven’t read Cinder? READ IT SARA! Also, Grave Mercy. You made me laugh with the t-shirt. I’m really looking forward to a lot of the ones you mentioned also. I STILL need to read Unravel Me, ugh.

Thanks for stopping by my TTT πŸ™‚

You must read Cinder!! It’s great! Unravel Me is a wonderful book! I adored it. I was scared about the whole “everyone is moving to Team Warner” thing too. And after Destroy Me & Unravel Me I was kinda leaning. But I’m in the middle. I love Adam the most but I can see how both guys “need” and love Juliette. I guess it depends really…but a great book πŸ™‚

I LOVE Grave Mercy, and Unravel Me was an amazing sequel; I don’t blame you for being nervous about the love triangle. πŸ˜‰

  11. Randi M

Great list! Cinder is lovely (as is Scarlet)! And I am STOKED for Clockwork Princess – SO CLOSE! The Rules for Disappearing and Taken are both high on my wishlist. And don’t feel bad about Grave Mercy – I’ve been wanting to read it for ever now and still haven’t managed to pick up a copy. πŸ™‚ Happy reading!

I really enjoyed Cinder! I hope you do as well! Thanks for visiting my post earlier! I feel the same way about Clockwork Princess. I definitely want to lock myself in my room when it comes out! I may want to stay in there depending on how it ends!

  13. Leigh @ Little Book Star

Scarlette is a really good read! Read it last year, and it was my first retelling read. I’m currently reading Cinder right now and omg it’s so good and original! Happy reading. πŸ™‚

Wait. You haven’t read Cinder? Or Grave Mercy? Get on those STAT! Otherwise your list looks a lot like my Amazon Wish List, what with Taken, The 5th Wave, This is What Happy Looks Like and The Program… Oh, and Clockwork Princess is NEXT week? Eep! I must read the other two books in the prequel, mustn’t I?

  15. Tabitha

I’m SO with you on Clockwork Princess. Nothings going to keep me from reading that book. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT COMES OUT NEXT WEEK. And I have a copy of Cinder coming in the mail (thank you YA BOOK EXCHANGE), so I’ll be reading that one soon.

    Great list!

  16. starryeyedjen

Gawd, you STILL haven’t read Grave Mercy? Get on that, girl! Dark Triumph was just as good, if not BETTER! So jelly you’re going to meet the author. I already have my copy of CP2 pre-ordered, but I think I’m going to DL the audio so I can get to it immediately. πŸ™‚

    • Sara @ Forever 17 Books

I know, I KNOW! And CP2 is one of those books, like Boundless, that I have my mom pick up at the store as soon as it opens on release day. lol I don’t bother pre-ordering because I can’t wait!

  17. aglowormreads

I can’t wait for Clockwork Princess as well! I need it!!
