**Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.**
Expected Publication Date: September 17th 2013
Publisher: Farrar, Straus and Giroux (BYR)
From Goodreads:
A novel about the end of days full of surprising beginnings.
The world is living in the shadow of oncoming disaster. An asteroid is set to strike the earth in just one week’s time; catastrophe is unavoidable. The question isn’t how to save the world—the question is, what to do with the time that’s left? Against this stark backdrop, three island teens wrestle with intertwining stories of love, friendship and family—all with the ultimate stakes at hand.
Alexandra Coutts’s TUMBLE & FALL is a powerful story of courage, love, and hope at the end of the world.
Why I Can’t Wait: This has page-turner written all over it! What would it be like to know the end of the world was coming? I think it would cause people to be more bold and courageous, to take risks they might not have before. I can’t wait to see how this will affect the teens in this story. A definite must-read for me! Oh, and once again, a book set to release on my birthday! September is going to be an awesome reading month. 🙂

I wanted this to be one on my picks today but can you believe that Goodreads kept telling me the book didn’t exist? Even after I looked it up under the author’s name. I had to change my picks because the covers didn’t match anymore.
Thanks for picking this, now I can add it to my Goodreads shelf!
Sara @ Forever 17 Books
The Goodreads search engine is REDIC! I can’t tell you how many times I have typed in the exact title of a book and it tells me it can’t find it. >.< Glad to help though! lol
Alise (Readers In Wonderland)
I first saw thus one in a cover reveal, for some reason, the & sign really bothers me because of its placement. Lol little thing, but I just can’t get over that! The story sounds great though! Thanks for stopping by my post!
Sara @ Forever 17 Books
It is a little bit of an awkward place for it, since it obscures the boy’s face, huh?
Jen Ryland/YA Romantics
I will wait for you to read it — books like that about bad stuff that might really happen just freak me out.

I was first enchanted by those pretty lights on the cover. So shiny and awesome. The summary is just as shiny and awesome. I’m silly for not having read it before. Definitely adding it to my To Read pile.

I’ve never seen this one before and it sounds amazing!!! o.O I agree, if the catastrophe was inevitable, people would rush to do what they’ve always wanted to do (as well as probably panic and loot)!! I can’t wait to see how this one will pan out – and that cover is gorgeous 😀 Thanks so much for pointing it out to me!
