May 15, 2013 Giveaway, Love in Bloom Giveaway Hop 105

Welcome to the Love in Bloom Giveaway Hop! This hop is hosted byย I am a Reader, Not a Writerย andย Portrait of a Book!
Ah, it’s that time of year again! The warm weather finally approaches after a cold winter. Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, allergies become a nightmare…
But love is in the air! Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime.

You’re walking along, minding your own business.
You’re looking neither to the left, nor to the right.
When all of a sudden you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo!
You begin to get weak in the knees.
Your head’s in a whirl!
And then you feel light as a feather.
And before you know it, you’re walking on air.
And then you know what? You’re knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!
And that ain’t all. It could happen to anyone, so you’d better be careful. It could happen to you… and you, and… Yes, it could even happen to you!

You get the point. ๐Ÿ™‚ So today I’m offering up a paperback of one of the following contemporary fiction novels with romances I could not help but fall in love with! Here’s what you can choose from:

**I believe two of these choices would be a paperback pre-order, but they come out within the next month or so.

  3. Christina K.

Definitely Elena and Damon in the Vampire Diaries. They began hating each other but then they earned each other’s respect and friendship and I think they fell in love all of a sudden when they really knew each other:)

    Thank you:)

  4. starryeyedjen

Love all of those GIFs!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Too cute! I’ve already got, read & loved all of those picks, so I won’t enter, but they are GREAT choices! ๐Ÿ˜€

  5. Christine

I love, for an ultimate book romance, Emma and Mr. Knightley. Always gets me!
And for TV, my favorite couples have been Jim/Pam (pure perfection), Castle/Beckett, Nick/Jess, Deeks/Kensi (the finale!), Peter/Olivia, Tony/Ziva, Sam/Andy (Rookie Blue), Toby/Spencer, Chuck/Blair, Wade/Zoe, and LOADS more haha ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Evette Torres

For some reason I’m don’t read too many romance books but I’m a sucker for a good romance movie. I love two lovestory movies Valentine’s Day and He’s Just Not That Into You. Every single time those two movies come on I just have to watch. My favorite in Valentine’s Day is when Ashton Kutcher’s character and Jennifer Garner’s character figure after a long friendship they love each other. And in He’s Just Not… when Justin Long’s character find himself falling in love with Ginnifer Goodwin’s character after he gives her dating advice. Thanks for the giveaway! ๐Ÿ˜€

  7. Kbaby81

I’m a romantic. My two favorite love stories/movies are The Notebook and Safe Haven. I have tons more but I watch those two a lot.

Thanks for the fun post and giveaway! The only time I can remember being “twitterpatted” was in high school and his name was Kevin ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Cali Willette

Thanks for the giveaway and I love your pictures :D. My favorite love stories are usually contemporary. One that I really like right now is Perfect Chemistry.

  12. Satchmo

I get heavily invested in a lot of pairings in manga series, especially because a lot of them span (are published in) years or decades.

  13. Danielle D.

I am definitely a fan of the Katniss and Peeta love story, mostly because it really wasn’t a love story. It was a survival story. They love story was based on the mutual desire to keep each other alive. Definitely not your typical love story.

As for myself, I became “twitterpated” for the first time in high school. His name was Brian…and I married him.

  14. Enbrethiliel

I’ve definitely been twitterpated, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a mutual attraction. =/ I think I’d have better luck as a skunk! LOL!

    Thanks for the giveaway. =)

  15. Ashley Rogers

First off I love that movie (: the owl trips me out lol. I think my favorite love story would have to be A Knight in Shining Armor. It was such a great book. It is def worth the read. I could not stop crying by the end. Thank you so much! I also became twitterpated in high school and married him (:

  16. Sierra

Does Love Story by Taylor Swift count? ๐Ÿ˜› I haven’t really been “in love” just had a crush or two. my favorite love story would probably Lizzie & Mr.Darcy or Jane Eyre and Mr.Rochester….they’re such classics! Thanks for the giveaway! I adore Stephanie Perkins’s books XD

  17. Sam

Favourite film love story??? OOoooo, maybe Beastly… I know it’s a book but I loved the movie adaptation with Alex Pettyfer. Love is never ugly, guys. ๐Ÿ™‚

  22. Irene Rosa

LOL I guess you could say I was twitterpated over my husband. I saw him and was like where have you been all my life. We dated for 4 months and got married. That was 15 yrs ago.

  23. RIN

I’m not completely sure what my favorite love story of all time is. I might actually just have to go with the classic Pride & Prejudice too, because well, it never gets old.

  24. Christina

My husband and I knew that we were meant to be by the third date. We were both too nerdy not to be together ๐Ÿ™‚ Plus, it helped that he is really hot haha!

And I love 13 going on 30 as well as The Notebook.

    Christina @ ensconced in YA

  25. Farah Khalaf

My favorite love story is actually Anna and the French Kiss! I just love that book, it’s soooo sweet:)
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  26. Thalia Anderson

My favorite love story is Phantom of the Opera–it’s not actually a love story to most people, but I absolutely melt when I think about how much the Phantom loves Christine, and how he would prefer to be alone for eternity than make her unhappy. Ouch, my heart is clenching just thinking about it!

  27. Maria Behar

Hi! Well, this is the first time I see the word “twitterpated”, but yes, I’ve been in that state of mind! It’s totally delicious!! As for my favorite love story, I have several — The Twilight Saga, Jane Eyre, Tryst (this is a ghost love story, published in 1939 and written by Elswyth Thane), and The Phantom of the Opera — but NOT the original, Gaston Leroux, but Lloyd Webber’s version. I also love a modern version, titled Night Magic. And, of course, Romeo and Juliet, except that I DON’T like the sad ending!!

  28. Lynn K.

The GIFs are so cute! But I don’t think I’ve been twitterpated before..
I don’t have a favorite love story too but I really liked Kate and Curran’s relationship (Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews)

  29. Jillyn

My favorite love story is Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma, even if it doesn’t have a happy ending.

I also LOVE the film Love, Actually.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  30. Sarah Meral

One of my favorite love stories is Jamie and Claireยดs story from the Outlander books

My favorite love story book and movie is Elizabeth and Darcy from Pride and Prejudice.

  32. Dorothy Teel

My favorite Love Story – remains The Notebook, I still cry when I see movie …If we want a younger version of me it would be Lady ANd the Tramp as a child I loved that story. ANd Now days, retired and love to read.. Thank you

  33. skyline1210

Ohhh there are so many love stories that swooned me. Forbidden (T. Suzuma) for one, Love Love (Beth Michele), Slammed (C. Hoover), Real (Katy Evans), Vain (Amelie Fisher), When Summer Ends (Isabelle Rae) and so on and so on…

  34. GABY

My favorite romantic movies are Love Actually and Pride and Prejudice ๐Ÿ™‚

BTW, I loved the gifts hehe

  35. Holly Letson

    Not sure what “Twitterpated” means…LOL!

I love the 1968 film of “Romeo & Juliet”.
Also, the “Sweet Valley High” book series and the 80s YA romance book series, “Sweet Dreams”.

  36. Nadine

I don’t even know what twitterpated is before, but I love the romance between Beau Vincent and Ashton from The Vincent Boys. Also the bittersweet love story between Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace, which is my all time favourite.

  37. Stacy Renee

I think it’s pretty hard to choose just one. I especially love specific movie romances such as in Across the Universe (the Beatles music movie, not the book), but also in book-to-movie adaptations such as Tuck Everlasting and Flipped (by Wendelin Van Draanen). Pride and Prejudice is a given.

  38. Alexju

No I’ve never been twitterpated but I love Hazel and Augustus and Olivia and Peter (Fringe). Thanks for the giveaway!

  39. Christina2227

Bambi gifs FTW! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity and for participating in the hop!

Love stories, I have so many whether they be movies, tv, or books because I’m a big time lover of love. I guess I’ll just list one of my most recent (Feb 2013) reads that I can’t seem to get out of my mind. It’s Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. I love the realness and swooniness of their relationship. *le sigh*

  40. Alyssa

I’ve been Twitterpated before. And my favorite love story would be Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen. It also has a movie! ๐Ÿ™‚

  41. Alina

When it comes to becoming Twitterpated I’m like “it ain’t gonna happen to me” but you know how that ended up for Bambi and friends so… hehe ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for the great giveaway!

  42. Lisa Vazquezanzua

My favorite love story is Twilight. When I first read the series I fell in love with this story. I can watch these movies over and over. And never tire of them. I do have other favorite love stories but this is my most favorite. Thank you so much for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!

I LOVE YOUR GIFS! I just have to say that because they made me smile and probably made my day a whole lot better. And I love any Meg Ryan or Sandra Bullock movie. While You Were Sleeping is a definite win for me. I love any Lori Wick book also to get me in the romantic mood. ๐Ÿ™‚

  48. Kristi

Hmm, one of my favorite love stories would have to be The Last Song (the book version). I just love Nicholas Spark’s books. He’s a genius who can make me laugh and cry at the same time.

  49. STBende

I’m still rooting for Sookie to get together with “nice” Vampire Eric on True Blood. Maybe this season? ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Awesome post, by the way!
