From Goodreads:

After breaking up with her bad-news boyfriend, Reagan O’Neill is ready to leave her rebellious ways behind. . . and her best friend, country superstar Lilah Montgomery, is nursing a broken heart of her own. Fortunately, Lilah’s 24-city tour is about to kick off, offering a perfect opportunity for a girls-only summer of break-up ballads and healing hearts. But when Matt Finch joins the tour as its opening act, his boy-next-door charm proves difficult for Reagan to resist, despite her vow to live a drama-free existence. This summer, Reagan and Lilah will navigate the ups and downs of fame and friendship as they come to see that giving your heart to the right person is always a risk worth taking. A fresh new voice in contemporary romance, Emery Lord’s gorgeous writing hits all the right notes.

“A fabulously entertaining story of friendship, healing, and love. Filled with laughter, heart, and a side of sass, this rock star debut will have you cheering for an encore!”—Elizabeth Eulberg, author of Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality

Why I Can’t Wait: I saw the cover reveal this week and it is so adorable! I love the pretty color effect on it. And I also LOVE the whole road trip vibe and dating a boy-next-door musician thing going on. And of course the friendship between the girls sounds like a winner too! Gah, I need this book THIS summer! April feels like an eternity away.

This sounds awesome! I am obsessed with summer reads and getting excited to think of all the new ones coming out for next summer, but you are right…I would love to read this book THIS summer! I like road trip books, especially for summer. Thanks for sharing this one!

Oh this sounds really cute! It’s new to me, but I love the road-trip boy-next-door vibe too. I’m not personally too keen on the cover, but I’ll still be picking this up once it’s released. Thanks for drawing it to my attention! Great pick, Sara. 🙂

I also saw this cover reveal… and I love it. So much. It also seems like a great contemporary fiction. April feels so far away. I feel like this is one of the downsides of being so bookish–you’re constantly finding books you want to read, and then realize that you sometimes have months (if not a full year) to wait for the book to be released, haha.

    Here’s my WoW post.

This sounds great! My computer is being wonky, though, and I can’t see the cover. Is it NA?? (Sounds like it, but I don’t know!)

Thanks for stopping by my WOW.

Gorgeous cover, road trip, musicians, good friendships…I don’t think I could imagine a more perfect setup. Just added this to my TBR, too. 🙂
