Since I tend to really enjoy spooky books, I’m surprised that I haven’t read any lately that I can think of. I do have Anna, and after seeing it above in your choices it definitely made me want to read it to get more in the Halloween spirit. 🙂

The last spooky book I’ve read was Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist, loved it and totally recommend it.
    Thanks for a giveaway! 🙂

  39. Maria Behar

Well, I haven’t read any REALLY spooky books lately, not in the “Stephen King sense”. (I don’t like him, by the way.) But I have read “Spellcaster”, by Claudia Gray (the author of the Evernight series), which does have some frightening moments. I’m currently reading “Hellsbane”, which reminds me of the Demon Trappers series, by Jana Oliver, and features a GREAT kick-butt heroine battling demons. She’s half-human, half-angel. This book ROCKS. It also reminds me of “Angelfire”, by Courtney Allison Moulton.

I’d love to read “Possess” or “The Hallowed Ones”!! Thanks so much for the giveaway!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! : )
