Two Year Blogoversary Celebration Giveaway! Take One

March 28, 2014 Blogoversary, Giveaway 95

It’s my Two Year Blogoversary!

*throws confetti*

It’s hard to believe it has been two years since I first clicked on Blogger and made that jump to starting my own blog after months of following so many others. Blogging has been such an amazing experience for me and has led to all sorts of new friendships with people who love to read as much as I do.

A lot has changed in this past year. The most obvious it that I made the jump to WordPress over the summer. Of course I am still working on reformatting ย old reviews. It’s a lot more time consuming than I originally expected but I work on it every now and then and maybe by year 3 I will have it done. I can honestly say I still have no clue what I’m doing as a blogger in general. I just go with the flow and write the posts I want and that’s good enough for me!

Another change you may or may not know about, is that I am pregnant with baby #3 and due in exactly one month from today! I have slowed down with my blogging these past few months and I’m sure that will continue with a newborn, but I am still here as much as I can be, reading and writing posts! I love it too much to give it up. ๐Ÿ™‚

So as a thank you for all of my readers for these past two years, I have a few giveaways planned for the next few days. Some will be US/CAN but I will also have one for my International readers as well.

GIVEAWAY BANNER

I am super excited about this first giveaway, which is also following the same trend I used last year too. As someone who doesn’t live in the prime location for author signings and events, it is hard not to look forward to bringing you guys this first giveaway. In May I will be attending the Rochester Teen Book Festival. It is an annual event where approximately 30 authors attend to talk about their books and sign copies for the fans. I’ve attended that past two years and each time was so much fun!

So for this first giveaway I am offering TWO lucky US/CAN readers the chance to pick a book from one of the following authors who are scheduled to attend and I will get you a copy PERSONALIZED to you! Please note: I recommend having a second choice just in case something happens and an author has to back out of the event last minute.

Simone Elkeles

Perfect Chemistry series ~ Leaving Paradise series ~ How to Ruin series

Andrew Smith

Grasshopper Jungle ~ Winger

Marie Rutkoski

The Winner’s Curse ~ The Shadow Society

Gina Damico

Croak series

Meagan Spooner

Skylark series ~ These Broken Stars

*If for some reason I don’t mention a specific book by the author that you are interested in and it is reasonably priced, please let me know. I just didn’t want to take the time to list everything they’ve written.

Honestly, there are so many more authors I plan on seeing but I am fearful I won’t have time for everyone so these are the authors I chose for this giveaway.

The Rochester Teen Book Festival is scheduled for May 17th, which is a couple weeks after this giveaway ends. Books will be mailed to the winners during the week after the event.

Giveaway Rules:

1. Giveaway is US/CAN only! (So sorry International followers but I do have something for you tomorrow!)
2. Must be at least 13 years old to enter.
3. Winner has 48 hours to respond or another winner will be selected.
4. I am not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
5. Please follow the entry directions in the rafflecopter. (I do check and will delete entries that do not follow the directions. If you have any questions on how to enter, please ask!)

Once again, thank you to all the wonderful readers, bloggers and authors who have made this past year so much fun! Hereโ€™s hoping for another great year! Donโ€™t forget to stop back over the next few days for more giveaways.

I haven’t been to an author event in several months, but the next one I’m going to is Book Bash in Orlando & I can’t wait!!

I’m not sure what book I’d want… maybe one of the How To Ruin series. I’ve never read any of her books but I’ve heard good things. I also LOVED Grasshopper Jungle & would love an autographed copy. ๐Ÿ™‚

Congrats on 2 years & TY for the giveaway!

  6. Lekeisha

I’d pick The Shadow Society by Marie Rutkoski (because I love The Winner’s Curse), or I’d pick All Our Yesterdays.

  7. Samantha Wallace

Happy Blogoversary!! I would pick The Winner’s Curse or The Shadow Society by Marie Rutkoski. Thanks for the giveaway!!

  8. Tiffany Drew

First of all, congrats on your baby! So exciting! Second, I have no idea what book I wold choose, that’s a hard decision. Lastly, I have only been to one author event because nobody wants to come to my tiny state. We had to make the drive into Boston for it, but it was worth it. Thank you!

  9. Kirstyn

I wish I could go to more author events :/ Seems like the major tours never make it down to South Florida!

Congrats on your blogoversary and your baby!! Thank you for the giveaway too ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Andreea

Congrats on the blogoversary. And again, congrats on being pregnant. When I had my first blog, I was pregnant with my first and blogged until I gave birth. But when the baby arrived, I couldn’t blog anymore, because she never slept, had colic and was crying the whole day. She didn’t STTN until she was 2,5 years old.

I started my current blog last year, when I was almost due with baby number 2. I think I stopped bloggin for 2 months, and then have been blogging ever since, because daughter nr. 2 was a different baby. She was a good sleeper and didn’t cry and I had more time.
However, she’s 13 months now and still doesn’t STTN. Sometimes, during the day, I am so tired. But I can’t stop reading or blogging, because as I mentioned to you before, I just need this time for myself.

    Sorry for the long reply.

Anyway, hopefully, your baby will be a good sleeper so that you can return to the book blogging world soon!

I don’t live very close to anywhere, I mean this quite literally, so am not within an easy driving distance of any signings. I’m hoping a big event will be held in Reno; that’s less than 5 hours from my home.

If I won, I’d love to have The Winner’s Curse, Grasshopper Jungle, or Proxy.

Thank you for doing something this wonderful for your followers. I think this is simply fabulous. I would be forever grateful to have a personally autographed book from any of these authors.

    Happy Blogoversary!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a huge milestone it is to have made two years blogging!! I admire all of y’all who have such amazing book blogs — I know it is a ton of hard work and requires a lot of dedication.

Second, what book would I choose…gah!! Such a hard decision to make! I believe my first choice would be THE WINNER’S CURSE by Marie Rutkoski, with second choice being WINGER (or GRASSHOPPER JUNGLE?? Which one, which one?!) by Andrew Smith.

Thanks for the awesome giveaway, and here’s to many more years on your blogging journey!

hey there and thank you for your information โ€“ I have certainly
picked up something new from right here. I did however expertise several
technical points using this web site, since I experienced to reload the website many
times previous to I could get it to load correctly.
I had been wondering if your hosting is OK? Not that I’m complaining, but slow loading instances times will often affect your placement in google and can damage your quality score
if ads and marketing with Adwords. Anyway I am adding this
