Five Year Blogoversary Celebration Giveaway – Take One

March 28, 2017 Blogoversary, Giveaway 22

It’s my 5 year Blogoversary!

I cannot even believe it has been 5 years! Blogging has been one of the greatest things in my life. It’s been a great opportunity to get me out of my shell and meet other book lovers who enjoy reading as much as I do! I’ve met some amazing people and been introduced to amazing books. Even though last year I wasn’t able to blog as much as I wanted to, it’s been so much fun to be back these past few months and I look forward to continuing to do the same.

kids

This past year has been such a busy and crazy time. My kids continue to grow and change. My little one is just about to turn 3 and continues to keep me on my toes! My oldest, Shawn, is now 10 and becoming a huge reader too. Nothing makes me more proud. He’s even expressed an interest in writing and is currently working on his first novel. :)

If any of my readers have been with me from the beginning, I used to do a feature on my blog with Shawn where he would make cover art and share his thoughts on what a book might be about just by looking at the cover. My middle child, Jacob, is now 6 and has just recently taken over the feature so I am super excited to have the chance to share all that with you guys as well. You can check those out HERE.

And when I am not chasing my kids around or reading, I can be found over at YA Bound Book Tours. :)

So as a thank you for all of my readers for these past five years, I have a couple giveaways planned for the next couple days. Today’s will be US/CAN only but tomorrow I’ll have something available for my International readers as well.

GIVEAWAY BANNER

I am super excited about this first giveaway, which is also following the same trend I used in past blogoversary giveaways. As someone who doesn’t live in the prime location for author signings and events, it is hard not to look forward to bringing you guys this first giveaway. In May I will be attending the Rochester Teen Book Festival. It is an annual event where approximately 25 authors attend to talk about their books and sign copies for the fans. I’ve attended quite a few times now and each time has been so much fun!

So for this first giveaway I am offering TWO lucky US/CAN readers the chance to pick ONE book from one of the following authors who are scheduled to attend and I will get you a copy PERSONALIZED to you!

Sarah J. Maas

throne of glass series
The_ACOTAR_series

Renée Ahdieh

the wrath and the dawn series         flame in the mist

Honestly, there are so many more authors I plan on seeing but I am fearful I won’t have time for everyone (sadly that happened to me last time and I was super bummed) so these are the authors I chose for this giveaway.

The Rochester Teen Book Festival is scheduled for May 20th, which is a few weeks after this giveaway ends. Books will be mailed to the winners during the week after the event.

Giveaway Rules:

1. Giveaway is US/CAN only! (So sorry International followers but I do have something for you tomorrow!)
2. Must be at least 13 years old to enter.
3. Winner has 48 hours to respond or another winner will be selected.
4. I am not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
5. Please follow the entry directions in the rafflecopter. (I do check and will delete entries that do not follow the directions. If you have any questions on how to enter, please ask!)

Once again, thank you to all the wonderful readers, bloggers and authors who have made this past year so much fun! Here’s hoping for another great year! Don’t forget to stop back tomorrow for another giveaway!

Happy Blogoversary!! My blog just turned 5 last month too. Didn’t it go by fast??? My son is 9 and sounds a lot like yours. He’s a super fast reader and when I asked him if he wanted to collaborate on writing a book (for fun), he said thanks, but no thanks– he’s too busy working on his OWN book to do one with me. LOL.

Actually me and another blogging friend of mine might go to the Rochester Teen Book Festival!! Maybe we’ll see you there :)

Congratulations, Sarah! So glad you’re still here. Many of the bloggers that I knew from when I started have long since quit. *sobs* So I’m thankful that even though we took many a break from all these years, we’re still kickin’ it.

I think I’ll pick Empire of Storms. That’s the only book I don’t have. Or maybe a preorder A Court of Wings and Ruin.

Thanks, Joy! You are so right. I was looking through my bloglovin feed a few weeks ago and deleted so many blogs that were no more. I was so surprised to see so many gone! :( But I happy you are still around though!

Happy Blogoversary! Thanks for the giveaway; I might choose a Sarah Maas book; not sure which one yet though. :)

  4. Evette T.

Congratulations! Happy 5th Blogoversary. My favorite book read so far is Illuminae. I would choose Throne of Glass.

  5. Red

Congratulations! Five years is a long time. I’ve always said this to others but I wish I could run a book blog. It would be so hard for me though. I am not good with putting my thoughts into words. I think you are doing such an amazing job and should be so proud of yourself. I hope you have so many more years ahead. I also have to say I’m extremely jealous you get to meet these awesome authors. My pick would be a book from Renée Ahdieh. I loved The Wrath & the Dawn & The Rose & the Dagger. I’m so excited for her upcoming one. I don’t own any of her books yet though. I’d let you surprise me. Thank you, thank you. No matter what have a blast!
P.S. Sorry for all the twitter spam I’m going to be giving you for the next 29 days. I’m in it to win it. 😉

I’m not so great at putting my thoughts into words either. Sometimes it takes me hours to put together a review (I had an awful time with a review I was working on a couple days ago). It can be frustrated so I get it. And thank you so very much! <3

Maybe the Wrath and the Dawn, I will need to look it up but it sounds awesome!

One book I definitely would choose is “The Rose & The Dagger” by Renee Ahdieh. It is the one book I am missing to complete the duology since I already have “The Wrath & The Dawn.” But, I would love it in hardcover for the hardcovers are much better. I can’t wait to read her new book, “Flame in the Mist.” I especially love that the setting is going to be in Japan and I have always been interested in going to Japan, mostly to see the cherry blossoms bloom in the spring and eat ramen! 😀 Thank you so much for hosting this giveaway! ♥ And Happy Five Year Blogoversary!!!! 😀 ♥

  8. Maria Malaveci

OMG! Happy Blogoversary! I would choose either Flame in the Mist or a Court of Wings & Ruin! Thanks so much for the chance!
