**Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and Bookish.**
Up until very recently I had no real desire to read books starring the fae/faeries. Of course one or two would find themselves on my list anyways but faeries were never anything I wished to explore further than guest appearances in my paranormal and fantasy genres. BUT with the help of A Court of Thorns and Roses series and how heavily faeries are portrayed in The Dark Artifices series, I realized I NEED more! So here are a few recent adds to my TBR!
A couple of these aren’t released yet but where do you think I should start? Any more faerie recs for me?
Julie @ Happily Ever Chapter
I haven’t read too many faerie books yet but I would love to read more so I will have to check some of these out! Great list!

The only fearie book I have read so far The Iron King and I really liked it! I still need to read the rest of the series though! Shamefully I have yet to read ACOTAR!

The Falconer is on my list as well. The Iron King is one that I hope to read too!

I don’t read a lot of fantasy so I’m still a Faerie virgin LOL. I didn’t know that Holly Black book was a Fae book. It looks cool. I love when I read a book and it makes me want to find more books like it. That’s cool that that happened to you recently!

It seems Holly Black writes a lot of faerie books? Isn’t it great when certain books inspire you to find new things like it? I remember finding Hush, Hush a looooong time ago and hunting for any angel book I could find afterwards. That introduced me to some of my favorites – all the Shadowhunter books as well as the Unearthly series.

I should really read more books about fae/faeries too since I also loved the ACOTAR series and the Dark Artifices. I wasn’t that big a fan of The Iron King series myself, but I am super intrigued to read the others on your list, as I had no idea they featureed fae 🙂

I used to be OBSESSED with the Iron King series way back when they first came out. I think those were some of the very first YA books that I ever really read. Looking back, I’m not sure how I’d feel about them now — they’d probably be my guilty pleasure reads. On the other hand, I read The Falconer back when that was being released a few years ago and LOVED it! I still need to get around to reading the sequel. I’ve heard wonderful things about Princess of Thorns, and I love Holly Black’s darker take on fantasy, so those titles have been on my TBR for a while now. But, I’d start with The Falconer!

It’s amazing how your tastes change. I don’t reread often but sometimes I think back on a book and question why I loved it as much as I did. lol Thanks for the rec! The Falconer will probably be my first!
Chai @ House Fairy Reads
The Iron Fey series is definitely one of my favorite faerie series! It’s so full of magic and the characters are really interesting. Check out the novellas too, they’re just as good.
Sara @ Forever 17 Books
Thanks for letting me know! I usually steer clear of novellas for the most part so I’ll have to make sure I don’t with these. 🙂

I adored ALL the Iron Fey books. I loved the world and the stories and was so sad to leave. I have the Falconer on my TBR too. I have heard so many good things, and I am definitely interested. We nabbed a copy of The Cruel Prince at BEA, so I will probably read that, if we don’t send it to one of the other co-bloggers. I hope you enjoy all these titles.

What an awesome grab at BEA! I’m hearing such great things about the Iron Fey series. I think I need to check my library this summer and see if I binge read them all at once. 🙂

The iron fey series was amazing! You should definitely start there but I also loved the wicked lovely series by Melissa Marr and Wings by aprilynne pile. One more fantastic series was wondrous strange by Lesley Livingston!
