**Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and Bookish.**
I have no idea how it is possible that 2017 is coming to an end already, but here we are! This year has been filled with amazing reads and I’m excited to share my favorites with you! Initially I thought it wouldn’t be too hard to create this list. I’ve noticed I’ve become a little pickier of a reader than I used to be. BUT, I ended up struggling to get this list cut down! I hate leaving out so many good ones but… To make it a little easier though, I decided to split my list into favorite YA and favorite Adult novels.
Top Ten Favorite Young Adult Novels
- Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli – Utterly adorable in every way! MY REVIEW!
- Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson – Beautifully touching and left me an emotional mess! MY REVIEW!

Several of your books are on my TBR. While I didn’t read Simon, I didn’t read The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli and loved it. And I have Simon and plan to read it soon.
I’m with you, it was hard to narrow down to 10 books. My 10th “book” was a series – I loved them all!

Your books are amazing. I’m glad you loved so many of them. I really want to read A Game of Thrones someday, but I just hope I’ll be able to stomach all the gore. I read a couple of circus books this year and Caraval is the only one I’m missing to complete my TBR!!
I’m in the middle of The Mortal Instruments but I CANNOT wait to get on with Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows!! Simon vs. is also on my list! We’ve got a couple of books in common!

I didn’t find A Game of Thrones quite as gory as the show but we shall see how the series continues though. lol
I’ve loved every Shadowhunters book. I just adore them so much. I hope you like them all!
Lisa @ Captivated Reader
I haven’t read any of the books on your list this week…. But I have the feeling I will be adding a few more titles to my ever growing reading wishlist!!

Aj @ Read All The Things!
I haven’t made my ‘best books’ list yet, but A Game of Thrones might be on it. I really liked that book.

Yay! They really did stay quite true to the book for the first season of the show, for the most part. I’m excited to see how things stray off course as I continue the series. 🙂
Nicole @ Reading Books With Coffee
The Hate U Give made my list as well. I really liked Caraval, and I’ve heard really good things about Warcross, so I’ll have to read that soon. Simon is a good choice too, and I really liked it when I read it.

SO many great books, right? 🙂
Sam@WLABB
I see six books I read and loved on your YA list. I read Simon almost 3 years ago and it still warms my heart. I get happy tears in my eyes every time I see a commercial for the film. Second Chance Summer was so heartbreaking and beautiful. I am eagerly awaiting the next books for Warcross, Letters to the Lost, Caraval, and LoS. I am currently listening to Ghosted, and I love it so far.

I haven’t had the chance to read any of these except for Caraval and I really loved it – definitely one of my favorite books for 2017. I also LOVED Wonder Woman Warbringer and Dear Martin!
