New Feature: at last…

January 11, 2018 at last..., Blog News 13

I have a serious bookshelf problem, guys. I have massive stacks of books piled all around my house since I’m way past available room on my shelves. The main problem is… I just cannot read fast enough for the amount of books that publish each year! I buy books, make trades, or maybe get an ARC and then I just never get a chance to read them all. I tell myself I’ll go back and read them soon but then life, or other books, get in the way. This is something I really want to work on this year because not only do I still want to read these books, I need to get them out of the house! This is where my new blog feature comes in:

Once a month I will be picking up an older book/ARC from my shelves to read and review on the blog. I’ll pick a stack of books to choose from and YOU GUYS will help me decide which will be my read for the month. Not only will I read and review the book, I will then host a GIVEAWAY where you can win my copy! If it ends up being something I just cannot part with, fear not. I will give away a copy from The Book Depository. Sound good?

Since this is the first month I’m posting the options now and you have until January 18th to let me know which book you think I should read. Feel free to leave a comment or tweet me to let me know your pick and then be on the lookout next month for my review, the giveaway, and next month’s book poll.

Maybe One Day by Melissa Kantor
Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland
Undone by Cat Clarke
Lovely, Dark and Deep by Amy McNamara
A Walk in the Sun by Michelle Zink

What do you think? Which book should I read next? I’m so very excited for this new monthly feature and I hope you guys will enjoy hearing about some older books plus your chance to win a copy!

Giiiirl, I have this same problem and I was literally just trying to address it yesterday! I scheduled tentative reviews for a ton of 2017 review books I never got the chance to read. It was more than I expected. I’ve not read any of these and I’m not familiar with them either so I can’t really vote objectively. Maybe Our Chemical Hearts? Happy reading!

Have a wonderful weekend, Sara. =)
