March
March is supposed to come in like a lion and out like a lamb, right? It’s still awfully cold, gray, and winter out there. I could really use some sunshine and warmer weather right about now!
Yet another boring-ish month where I don’t have too much to share with you guys (hence needing the warmer weather). My kids just started spring break so hopefully this coming week will bring some fun times. I’ve been on a spring cleaning kick which seems to result in my house looking worse instead of better… I’ve been shopping for all sorts of new furniture and to be honest the whole thing is quite exhausting. One piece was purchased and the rest has been put on hold until I can make up my mind.
I downloaded snapchat purely for my kid’s enjoyment. Here are a few gems:
And of course, it was my blogoversary! Six whole years I’ve been sharing my bookish thoughts with you guys and hopefully I’ll be around for more years to come! I have TWO giveaways happening on the blog right now! Make sure you check those out if you haven’t already. Plus head over to my twitter page for an extra giveaway happening over there!
Blogoversary Giveaway Take One – Win one of my favorite novels of the past year! (INT)

Thanks!
I have a few review books to get through and then I can’t wait to get back to The Others series!
Aimee (Aimee, Always)
Awww your kids are too cute! Our nanny’s son, plus my niece, are always in our house, and Snapchat/Messenger filters are pretty much the #1 guarantee to make them smile and laugh. <3 Happy reading, Sara–Children of Blood and Bone is SOOOO good.

Thanks! My daughter is obsessed with snapchat and the filters. We have to check everyday and see what’s new.

Glad you had fun with your kids! I know my daughter loves to stylize her selfies too. Sometimes they creep me out, like the one where she twists and bends her face. Anyway…your book haul is an exact replica of my Mother’s Day wish list (all I have is books and chocolate on my list). Happy Easter!
Sara @ Forever 17 Books
Some are definitely creepy!
Happy Easter to you too!
Nick
I am so so ready for some nicer weather too. I’m sick of how dreary it’s been and I see snow in the forecast for this week. Haha! Your kids are adorable. I love using the snapchat filters too!
And omg yay! I see Pretty Face on your list! I hope you love it! 🙂
Sara @ Forever 17 Books
Thank you! And yes, Pretty Face has finally been purchased. It’s on my reading schedule for the summer!
Freda

Those Snapchat pictures are too much! Thanks for the giggles. I especially love the puking rainbows one (Christmas card?) XP How good was Starry Eyes!!! I 5-starred that book too. I can’t wait to read the next Roni Loren. I really like the concept of that series. And congratulations of your GR wins! I won one of those books earlier this year (one of my few YA wins). I hope we both like it.

Awe, your kids pics are adorable!!! Our kids don’t get spring break where we live, they only get a 4 day weekend of Easter off. It would be a nice break fo them though, enjoy the time with your kids. 🙂 Enjoy all those great books too. Happy Easter!
Sara @ Forever 17 Books
Thank you! We are in school here til the end of June so it’s nice to have that little break.
Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra
Those snapchat pics are precious!
And wow, 2 Goodreads wins within the same week? That is impressive and yeah, based on the way those work for me, probably the last time you’ll win for years to come, haha!
Sara @ Forever 17 Books
Thanks! And yeah, probably nothing more for Goodreads for years. Funnily enough, this happened the first time I won one of their giveaways too, I won another right after. lol
Greg
Yay for 6 years! And have a great spring break! I’m really curious about Lifelik3 as I’ve never read a Kristoff solo book, but after the Illuminae series I’m kinda considering it.
And Starry Eyes is supposed to be so good!
