Summer Wrap-Up + Clear Your Shelf Giveaway!

Summer

Hey guys! Soooo, I went a little silent over the summer. I went through a reading slump (and I can’t say I’m completely over it either) and combine that with my 3 kids being home… I just wasn’t in a place to blog, unfortunately. But I did do a lot of fun things! We went to Boston for a few days to visit family and had a great time. Other than that, our days were filled with the pool, ice cream, movies, and more!

But, my kids are back in school, including my little Erin who started preschool.   So I’m hoping in the next couple weeks to get back on track! Because of my reading slump, I stuck mostly to Adult romance novels. Most of my reads were on the okay side which didn’t help the slump but a couple stood out and I plan to share those reviews this month. It may be a little slow getting back on track but I’m really excited to be back and find some ‘me’ time doing something I love.

Welcome to the Clear Your Shelf Hop! This hop is hosted by Bookhounds!

To celebrate being back as well as helping to get rid of the stacks of books lying around my house, I’m giving away the following stack of older ARCs (dog not included). US only!

“Did you do anything exciting over the summer?” No! I try to avoid excitement at all costs!

We took an extended weekend trip up north and got to tour a chocolate factory and walk the beaches of Lake Michigan.

Nothing to exciting. I went to my grandparents cottage quite a bit this summer with the kids. And part of the summer has been football and marching band practice.
