Inspired by an article on Babble called, Judging a Book by Its Cover: A 6-year-old Guesses What Classic Novels Are All About, I have asked my 5 year old what his thoughts are on a few Young Adult covers lying around the house. To take it a step further, I also had him make some cover art!
This week is the Black City edition! I was luck enough to read Black City and join the Blog Tour this week (my review is HERE) so what better time to see what Shawn thinks of the covers!
“Somebody gets a flower and they crumble the flower into pieces so they can glue the pieces onto paper to make something.”
“This book is about a feather that is half side fire and half side not fire. The feather went up and hit the sun and is now landing on a bunch of buildings.”
These are some of my favorites from him! I hope you enjoyed Shawn’s thoughts and artwork this week. Let me (and Shawn) know what you think! 🙂
