September 12, 2017 Top Ten Tuesday 15

**Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and Bookish.**

Forever 17 Books started back in 2012, which feels like a lifetime ago! I can honestly say my tastes have changed very much so it’s sort of cool to see what books really left a mark on me back then. So here are 10 books I loved back in 2012 when I started blogging!

A Need So Beautiful and A Want So Wicked by Suzanne Young – I LOVED this series!

Graceling by Kristin Cashore – Such a captivating world! Graceling is my favorite from the series.

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry – such a good contemporary romance! I adored Noah and Echo and all the side characters we explore even more in later books!

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater – It’s been 5 years?! I have yet to read the rest of the series (I know, I know) so I’ll be rereading this at some point.

My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick – Loved the romance, loved the family dynamic.

Venom by Fiona Paul (now titled Venomous Kiss) – I wasn’t a huge historical fiction fan at the time but the author had such a way with the setting and romance making it a favorite.

Sempre by J.M. Darhower – Favorite book, favorite series, favorite author!

Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness – A complete surprise to me but I’ve never read anything like these books and they are truly amazing. The Knife of Never Letting Go review  | The Ask and the Answer reviewMonsters of Men review

City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments #5) by Cassandra Clare – Forever being sucked into this world, all these years later.

Insurgent (Divergent #2) by Veronica Roth – Back when I was all about this series. Sadly it took a turn with the last book but I still have fond memories of the excitement from the first two books!

It’s so interesting to see what I read back then and how many of these authors I continue to find amazing books from! What about you? Have you read any of these books?

Yay! Another Cassandra Clare fan! 🙂 I <3 her stories. And, I also adored Graceling. It's one of my favorite high fantasy stories. I also enjoyed Insurgent. I thought it was a good sequel. Great list!

I misread the prompt so I did it wrong, lol. Oh well.

Definitely get around to finishing The Raven Boys! I only picked up the series last year, but the whole thing is amazing. It quickly became one of my favourite series of all time!

I’ve seen really good things about the Graceling series and am especially curious about Katie’s books since I’m a big fan of contemporary. I do own the first book in her most recent series… so I have high expectations.

Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland.

I loved My Life Next Door too! I loved the first two books in the Divergent series but I hated how Allegiant ended. A lot that book seemed too convenient to me. I know the movies didn’t really get much of a following so who knows if they’re going to finish out the series but I’m curious how they’re going to handle it.
