**Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. **

Title: Warrior of the Wild
Author: Tricia Levenseller
Publication Date: February 26th 2019
Publisher: Feiwel and Friends

Summary from Goodreads:

How do you kill a god?

As her father’s chosen heir, eighteen-year-old Rasmira has trained her whole life to become a warrior and lead her village. But when her coming-of-age trial is sabotaged and she fails the test, her father banishes her to the monster-filled wilderness with an impossible quest: to win back her honour, she must kill the oppressive god who claims tribute from the villages each year or die trying.

Why I Can’t Wait: I really enjoyed Daughter of the Pirate King by this author (I still need to get my hands on the sequel!) so I’m excited to check out something different by her as well. And I’m all about Viking inspired reads and have enjoyed a couple earlier this year which have me super pumped for this one! Who doesn’t love a kick-ass warrior girl? GIMME GIMME!

The cover pretty great and the Viking aspect sounds really good.

I don’t tend to gravitate towards Viking inspired stories, but I am really taken by the synopsis of this one. I will have to give it a try myself! I hope you enjoy this when you read it.

This sounds perfect for me! I’m adding it to my TBR now… thanks so much for sharing this. <3

I feel like the father shouldn't have punished her because someone else was responsible for the sabotage, but I guess then we wouldn't have a book, haha.

There’s no end to the bottles, packs and pills of various
nutritional supplements out there, but vitamin startup Care/of plans
to stand out by tailoring the vitamins you pop to your specific needs.
